ANALISIS VISUAL PADA GAMBAR KARYA ANAK MASA MIDDLE CHILDHOOD DI MI ISLAM GADING
Abstract
In the modern era, there are more and more media for drawing, various media can be used, such as gadgets that are also increasingly sophisticated. If we were born in the 90s, we must have experienced a happy childhood. a time when gadgets still didn't exist or were used very minimally, a time when they weren't as sophisticated as they are today. The difference between the past and present children has a very big difference. Today's children play all electronic and online.
Visual analysis of the 21st century continues to evolve with changes in technology and cultural dynamics. It is important to stay abreast of developments in this field and understand new ways of understanding and interpreting images and visual media in today's context. Drawing can also be used as a way to express the contents of one's soul in the form of lines, therefore, if a child scribbles on paper or walls and boards and anywhere else, then the child is drawing and pouring his imagination into every visual work (Tytler et al. , 2020). Through pictures, children can express emotions and express ideas in the form of strokes.
This research is a qualitative research carried out in order to be able to interpret the meaning of a natural event and certain conditions based on theory and analysis. The aesthetic scientific approach then uses the method of art criticism in order to understand the visualization of works that lead to a book by Edmund Burke Feldman (Feldman, 1967) consisting of several stages..
Childhood is most effective in the development of creativity. The potential of children of their age is at a very important time to stimulate their development. To support their creativity, it is necessary to create an atmosphere that guarantees the maintenance of psychological freedom which can be created and maintained by building a playing atmosphere that can train and provide opportunities for children to present new ideas and ideas smoothly and original through pictures.
To analyze drawings made by children aged 7-12 years, we can look at the functions and characteristics of the images, for example, by providing opportunities for children to actualize themselves and express what they feel by making works of art based on their interests and their level of development..
One of the functions of drawing is being able to introduce and practice the use of language and terminology of fine art in explaining and responding to works of art and to train their ability to understand the meaning expressed through the visualization of symbols, shapes and metaphors. Drawings of children are works of art that can be used as a medium to view the psychological development of children. The characteristics of the drawings of children aged 7-12 years have their own uniqueness, what is unique is the shape of the drawings which are different from those of adults. Children have drawings that can show their psychological development and have their own uniqueness in the composition and method of the child in drawing, colors, types, types, lines, and themes that form unique drawing patterns.
