STRATEGI KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI GURU DI MI AL-FATTAH KOTA MALANG

Abstract

Leadership is one of the most decisive factors in the achievement of the goals of any organization and in any form, as well as in the scope of education. The head of the Madrasah has a very important role to play in improving the competence of teachers. Then in order to the goal of education, the Chief Madrasah guided the teachers in MI Al-Fattah City Poor. The efforts to improve the competence of teachers in MI Al-Fattah City Malang will succeed, if all its elements are able to cooperate, have good management, and good quality of SDM. Then from here it is necessary the Strategy of the Chief Madrasah in Improving the Competence of Teachers, then also will improve the quality of the learning process of his teaching. The research methods used in this work are a kind of qualitative phenomenological research. This phenomenological research focuses on digging, understanding, and interpreting the meaning of phenomena, events, and relationships of people under certain conditions. The data collection technique in this study uses observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used range from data collection, data condensation, data display, and verification and conclusion making. The results of the research showed that the chief madrasah's strategy in improving teacher competence at MI Al-Fattah Kota Malang that includes Pedagogical Competence, Personal Competency, Social Competence and Professional Competence is starting from policy planning, policy implementation, and policy evaluation. From the description above the head of the madrasah and all its elements should increase its responsibility, especially in the improvement of means and facilities, which of course are closely related to the learning process. And all this is to make MI al-Fattah Poor City even better.
