IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN AQIDAH AKHLAK DALAM MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract

Character education can be viewed as an initiative to foster critical thinking, respect for appropriate behavior, and proficiency in performing tasks in accordance with high moral standards in order to become a better person. Planting character education in Islamic education is a form of creating student character with good morals. The problem of the current generation is a moral crisis, therefore character education is very important. The research method used in this research is qualitative research using case studies in the field. Collection techniques in this study use observation, interviews, and documentation. In accordance with data analysis, it was discovered that MI Alma'arif 02 Singosari's character education curriculum calls for teaching, modeling, moral contemplation, worship, and believing. Teaching children how to conduct themselves properly in accordance with the teachings of the Al-Quran and Sunnah is the most crucial aspect of character education. The implementation of learning aqidah morals in improving the disciplinary character of students is carried out in order to form students to have a disciplined attitude and have good morals. The method used in learning aqidah morals is a lecture, discussion, question and answer method and other methods by adjusting class conditions.
