IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SISWA MELALUI BUDAYA RELIGIUS DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The current incessant flow of globalization has resulted in the moral decline of the nation’s children. Therefore character education is very important to be implemented in various educational institutions. Character education has expanded implemented in school, but until now there are atill students’ characters who deviate from religious teaching, so it is necessary to instill religious character values in students, through the implementation of religious culture programs, schools can have a positive impact. Students so that they are accustomed to doing good things according to religious teachings. This research was conducted at SD Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) Malang City by counducting observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of character education through religious culture can work well because the school plans, implements and evaluates it properly so that it can make it easier for teachers, students and school members to carry out religious culture programs.
