KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALISME GURU KELAS DI MIN 1 KOTA MALANG

Abstract

Teacher is someone who has a major influence on the educational process. To achieve the desired goals, teachers must have professionalism in teaching. The professionalism of teachers, especially class teachers, in teaching is inseparable from the leadership of the headmaster, therefore there is a close relationship between the professionalism of class teachers and the leadership of the headmaster in managing institutions. For this research, the researcher chose MIN 1 Malang as the research location. The researcher will present a discussion regarding the form of classroom teacher professionalism and the implementation of the leadership of the headmaster of madrasah in increasing teacher professionalism. This research is a qualitative research, this qualitative research aims to be able to explain the phenomena that are the focus of research. The type of research used is a case study. By using primary data sources and secondary data sources. The results of this study are that the professionalism of class teachers at MIN 1 Malang City is carried out by increasing the competence of class teachers covering 4 aspects namely pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competence. The other thing is the self-development strategy carried out by the class teachers themselves such as training, seminars, KKG, and other forms of professional development. For the implementation of the Leadership of the Head of MIN 1 Malang City to increase the professionalism of class teachers by carrying out 3 functions, namely Headmaster as a supervisor, Headmaster as a manager, Headmaster as an evaluator, and Headmaster as a motivator.
