INOVASI PEMBELAJARAN AKIDAH AKHLAK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKHLAKUL KARIMAH SISWA MINU RADEN RAHMAT NGERONG GEMPOL PASURUAN

Abstract


This study aims to explore the planning, application, and outcomes of an innovation in teaching Akidah Akhlak (Islamic faith and morality) to improve the character of students at MINU Raden Rahmat Ngerong Gempol Pasuruan. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from the school's headmaster, vice principal, and Akidah Akhlak teachers, with second-grade teachers as the subjects. The research was conducted in four stages: pre-fieldwork, fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting. The study addresses three main questions: (1) how to plan the innovation, (2) how to apply it, and (3) what the outcomes are. The research findings indicate that the planning of the innovation involved developing a lesson plan that incorporates teaching strategies such as lectures, discussions, memorization, and role modeling. In the application stage, teachers followed the lesson plan by integrating various teaching methods such as lectures with discussions, memorization and role modeling, and vice versa. The outcomes of the innovation show that students have been taught Akhlakul Karimah (good character) and are expected to apply it to their daily life. This study contributes to the development of teaching methods that can be used to improve students' character and enhance their moral values. The results of this study can be used as a reference for other schools to develop similar innovations in teaching Akidah Akhlak.
