PENERAPAN PROGRAM ADIWIYATA DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN DI MI MIFTAHUL ULUM KOTA BATU

Abstract


Humans are one of the causes of environmental damage, many human actions make the environment unbalanced. One of the efforts that can be made to build a generation that cares about the environment is by providing environmental education from an early age. So to maintain a healthy environment in schools, it can implement the adiwiyata program in developing environmental care characters in MI Miftahul Ulum Batu City. Then, the purpose of this study is to find out the application of the adiwiyata program can develop the character of caring for the student's environment and find out the supporting factors and causes in the application of the program. The method carried out in this study uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques that researchers collect in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. From this research, the results obtained by the researchers are that the application of the adiwiyata program has run well as evidenced by the many applications of creative and innovative programs in maintaining environmental cleanliness, saving the environment, and using the environment well can educate students to become individuals with character who care about the environment.
