PENERAPAN REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract


This study discusses how the application of reward and punishment in increasing student motivation in thematic learning at MI Thoriqul Huda. This study aims to determine the form of application of reward and punishment that has been applied at MI Thoriqul Huda in thematic learning class IV, indicators of increasing student motivation in thematic learning through application of reward and punishment, inhibiting and supporting factors for application of reward and punishment in thematic learning for increase student motivation. The research was conducted using a qualitative research approach with a descriptive type. The research was carried out at MI Thoriqul Huda, and the data was obtained using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the study explain the various forms of reward and punishment in class IV thematic learning, the form of reward and punishment indicators in thematic learning can increase student learning motivation, the inhibiting factor application of reward and punishment is that giving rewards too often will make it a habit for children . Supporting factors for giving rewards in the form of praise, goods, or money are very good for motivating student learning.
