STRATEGI GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI SD NEGERI 3 TAMANHARJO SINGOSARI MALANG

Abstract


The spread of the Covid-19 virus has caused teaching and learning activities to be carried out online at each student's home. In the Covid-19 pandemic conditions, students experienced a decline in learning due to lack of motivation to learn because students were more interested in playing than studying. Teachers have an important role in education, namely as motivators who provide motivation and enthusiasm to students in increasing learning motivation. in this study using a qualitative approach and the type of case study research. Data collection carried out by researchers are interviews, observations, and documentation. as a reinforcement of the data obtained from interviews related to the teacher's strategy in increasing student learning motivation, research informants were school principals, teachers of Islamic religious education subjects and students. From the results of the research conducted, there are several data exposures, including 1) learning motivation at SD Negeri 3 Tamanharjo Singosari has changed quite well, 2) the strategies used by teachers include online and offline learning, as well as giving praise and grades. 3) the supporting factors in increasing students' learning motivation come from within students, parents, teachers, friends, and the surrounding environment, while the inhibiting factors come from students and internet connections.
