PENGGUNAAN MEDIA REKAMAN SUARA UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN MUFRODAT DI SMP AR-ROHMAH PUTRI MALANG

Vocabulary is one of the essential components of Arabic language learning because it helps students understand the language, express ideas, and use the language in communication. Therefore, vocabulary instruction requires appropriate instructional media to support the learning process. One of these media is audio recording media, which enables students to listen repeatedly to the correct pronunciation of vocabulary items. This study aims to describe the implementation of vocabulary instruction using audio recording media and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in vocabulary learning among seventh-grade students at Ar-Rohmah Junior High School, Malang. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through triangulation. The findings indicate that vocabulary instruction using audio recording media was implemented through a planning stage followed by three instructional stages the preliminary stage, the main stage, and the closing stage. The teacher also played an important role in guiding students throughout the learning process. The study further identified several supporting factors, including the use of audio recording media, the teacher's role, well-organized lesson planning, and the systematic implementation of learning activities. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors included differences in students' abilities, lack of concentration among some students, the learning environment, and the quality of the audio recordings. This study is expected to contribute to the development of Arabic language teaching through the use of audio recording media.
