ANALISIS PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN DEEP LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN MAHAROH KITABAH INSYA'IYAH SISWA DI MA KHA WAHID HASYIM

Abstract

Learning the Maharah Kitabah Insya'iyah in Madrasah Aliyah is still dominated by conventional methods that focus on copying and memorization, so that students are less able to develop ideas independently and understand language structures contextually. The deep learning approach with three pillars of mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning is offered as an innovative solution. This study aims to analyze the process of implementing the deep learning approach and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the understanding of Maharah Kitabah Insya'iyah in class X students of MA KHA Wahid Hasyim Bangil. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with subjects of one Arabic teacher and five class X students selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation (RPP, photos). Data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the process of implementing deep learning occurs through three integrated stages: planning (preparing lesson plans and contextual materials), implementation (opening phase of mindful learning, meaningful learning exploration, writing application with modeling and product differentiation, and joyful learning reflection), and evaluation through portfolios and reflection. The main supporting factors include qualified teacher competency and high student intrinsic motivation. Inhibiting factors include limited madrasah infrastructure, Islamic boarding school policies that limit access to social media, and limited time allocation. The deep learning approach has proven effective in improving student understanding, especially in aspects of sentence structure and vocabulary, and is in line with the theory of mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. The success of implementation is largely determined by the creativity and adaptation of teachers to the context of Islamic boarding schools.
