Pemanfaatan Media Audiovisual dalam Meningkatkan Maharah Istima Bahasa Arab di kelas XI-24 SMA An-Nur Bululawang Malang

Abstract
This study examines the utilization of audio-visual media to enhance the Arabic listening skills of eleventh-grade students at SMA An-Nur 2 Bululawang Malang. The research addresses the challenge of traditional Arabic teaching methods that often fail to engage students and hinder language comprehension, especially in listening proficiency. Employing a qualitative descriptive case study approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students. The study explores the application of tools like projectors, speakers, computers, and authentic Arabic videos to present vocabulary and pronunciation contextually and interactively. Findings indicate that audio-visual media significantly improve students’ listening abilities and motivation by providing integrated auditory and visual stimuli that facilitate understanding of intonation and linguistic context. However, the effectiveness is limited by constraints such as inadequate facilities, technical issues, and restricted learning time. The research highlights the necessity of enhancing infrastructure and teacher training to optimize the use of audio-visual media, ultimately making Arabic language learning more effective and engaging.
