IMPLEMENTASI MEIDA POWETPOINT DALAM HAFALAN MUFRODAT SISWA KELAS V MIS ALMAARIF 08 SINGOSARI MALANG
Abstract
Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of PowerPoint media in enhancing Arabic vocabulary memorization among fifth-grade students at MI Al-Ma’arif 08 Singosari Malang and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. The study is grounded in the issue of students’ weak vocabulary mastery, attributed to conventional teaching methods and the lack of engaging instructional media. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the use of PPT media, enriched with visual, audio, and animation elements, effectively increased students’ interest, participation, and memory in vocabulary retention. Learning became more interactive and enjoyable, as indicated by higher student enthusiasm and improved recall of new vocabulary. Supporting factors included students’ positive responses, attractive media design, and adequate school infrastructure, while inhibiting factors involved limited instructional time, teachers’ low technological competence, and varied student abilities. The findings highlight the potential of PPT as an effective tool for vocabulary memorization, especially when combined with teacher training and contextual learning strategies.
