EFEKTIVITAS METODE LEARNING CYCLE UNTUK PENINGKATAN MAHARO KALAM DI SEKOLAH MADRASAH ALIYAH AHMAD YANI JABUNG
Abstract
Abstract
Â
Maharah Kalam, the ability or skill to express the idea of the mind to the interlocutor. In learning Arabic, this skill aims to make students able to communicate orally well using Arabic. And it turns out that there in learning Arabic still uses conventional methods and this is the reason why students will have difficulty in speaking Arabic skills, and students lack understanding in learning Arabic, therefore researchers will introduce another method, namely the Learning Cycle This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning cycle method in increasing understanding of maharah kalam at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Ahmad Yani. Traditional learning methods often face challenges in optimizing understanding of maharah kalam, so innovative learning approaches are needed. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of MA Ahmad Yani students who were divided into two groups: the experimental group who received learning using the learning cycle method, and the control group who received learning using the conventional method. Data was collected through pre-tests, learning interventions, and post-tests. Data analysis was carried out by testing differences in test scores between the two groups using the independent t test. The research results show that the learning cycle method significantly increases understanding of maharah kalam compared to conventional methods. These findings indicate that the application of the learning cycle method can be an effective alternative in increasing understanding of maharah kalam in Islamic educational institutions such as MA Ahmad Yani. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance of a process-oriented learning approach and active student interaction in understanding kalam concepts. Further research is recommended to explore more deeply the factors that influence the effectiveness of the learning cycle method in the context of understanding maharah kalam.
