MANAJEMEN PROGRAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DI PONDOK PESANTREN MASJID AGUNG JAMI’ MALANG

Abstract


Learning Arabic in Indonesia has a very vital role, especially in the context of religious education. An example is Islamic boarding school institutions. Therefore, mastery of Arabic is essential for students in Islamic boarding schools to understand Islamic teachings in depth and comprehensively. The Grand Jami' Malang Mosque Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic educational institutions that emphasizes the importance of mastering Arabic for its students. This Islamic boarding school has a long history of educating the younger generation with strong Islamic basics, and one of the main pillars of education here is the Arabic language learning program. Considering the complexity and challenges faced in managing Arabic language learning programs, effective management is needed so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally. The aim of this research is to describe the management of the Arabic language learning program at the Grand Jami' Mosque Islamic Boarding School in Malang, starting from how to organize, plan, implement, supervise and evaluate the learning program. The research focus includes aspects of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating learning. The methodology used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, which aims to understand phenomena and the meaning of events from the perspective of research subjects.

The research results show that planning the learning program involves preparing a syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), and developing teaching materials using the book "Arobiyah Bayna Yadaik". Organizing includes preparing schedules, dividing teacher tasks according to expertise, and providing adequate facilities and infrastructure. Learning is implemented using lecture and analysis methods, with an emphasis on direct practice and the use of varied learning media. Evaluation is carried out through written tests and direct evaluations to measure students' understanding and skills in Arabic.
