PENGARUH JENIS NUTRISI DAN MEDIA TANAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SELADA MERAH (Lactuca sativa L.) DENGAN METODE HIDROPONIK NFT

Abstract


This research was conducted to determine the reaction of giving AB mix inorganic nutrients and NASA Organic nutrients and rockwool and cocopeat growing media types on the growth of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) using the NFT hydroponic method. This research was conducted in the village of Bunul Rejo, Blimbing District, Malang City from February to March 2023. The research design used was a Split Plot design consisting of Nutrients as the main plot and Media as subplots. It consisted of 4 combinations, namely 1. P0M0 (Inorganic Rockwool) 2. P0M1 (Inorganic Cocopeat) 3. P1M0 (Organic Rockwool) 4. P1M1 (Organic Cocopeat) The treatment was repeated 6 times. The results of this study indicate that there is an interaction between the type of nutrition and the growing media on the growth of red lettuce plants. the P0M1 treatment was a good treatment compared to the others on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, and vitamin C. The type of inorganic nutrient treatment AB mix (P0) was a good type of nutrient treatment on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, total fresh weight, fresh weight consumption, dry weight, total dissolved solids, and chlorophyll. The treatment of cocopeat plant media (M1) was a good media treatment in terms of leaf area and chlorophyll parameters.
