Abstract

The The continuous use of chemical fertilizers causes their role to become ineffective. Improving soil fertility is also required by adding organic fertilizers. The addition of organic fertilizers to agricultural lands, especially on lands that have been used intensively and continuously, must be done. However, the effectiveness of the use of organic fertilizers alone to increase agricultural yields is still widely doubted by agricultural experts because of its many needs. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of organic fertilizers and inorganic fertilizers on rice yield. The design used in this study is a Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors, namely: factor 1 Gogo rice variety: Inpago 8 (V1), Inpago 12 (V2), and Inpago 13 Fortiz (V3). Fertilization management factor: Recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer (F1), Half recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer + 2.5 kg/m2 cow dung (F2), Half recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer + 2.5 kg/m2 solid vermicompost (F3) and Half recommended dose of inorganic fertilizer + nano vermicompost solution (F4). The results of this study showed that the combination of inorganic and organic fertilizers according to the recommended dose gave different results on three varieties of upland rice plants, where the Inpago 8 variety with inorganic fertilizer treatment according to the dose produced the best results. Inpago 8 (V1) and Inpago 12 (V2) varieties gave the best response to the application of a combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers. The results of this study indicate that the use of inorganic fertilizers remains the best. Fertilization treatment F2 (organic fertilizer half the recommended dose + 2.5 kg/m2 of cow dung) has the same potential as fertilization F1 (inorganic fertilizer recommended dose).
