Aplikasi Pupuk Majemuk Phonska Dan Pemangkasan Cabang Lateral Terhadap Hasil Tanaman Tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.)

Abstract


Cultivation techniques that must be considered are plant maintenance including fertilization and pruning of lateral branches. The type of fertilizer that can be used to increase soil fertility, one of which is Phonska compound fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of phonska fertilizer and lateral branch pruning to increase tomato fruit production. This research began in May 2021 until August 2021 at Sumbergondo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. This study used a factorial randomized group design (RAK) consisting of two factors. The first factor consisted of four levels of Phonska fertilizer dose (P0 = no fertilizer, P1 = Phonska fertilizer 400 kg/ha, P2 = Phonska fertilizer 500 kg/ha, P3 = Phonska fertilizer 600 kg/ha). The second factor is pruning lateral branches consisting of four levels (L0 = no pruning, L1 = pruning lateral branches 10 cm, L2 = pruning lateral branches 15 cm, L3 = pruning lateral branches 20 cm). The results showed that the application of phonska fertilizer and pruning of lateral branches could increase the yield of tomato plants. The combination of P3L3 treatment (Ponska fertilizer 600 kg/ha + 20 cm lateral branch pruning) resulted in the highest fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per hectare, namely 2145.47 grams/plant and

71.51 tons/ha.
