Pengaruh Aplikasi Dosis Pupuk Urea Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Kangkung Darat (Ipomoea sp.)

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of differences in the application of urea fertilizer doses in various combinations on the growth of land spinach plants and to determine the appropriate dose of urea fertilizer on the growth and yield of land spinach plants. This research was conducted in a greenhouse, Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Malang on Jalan MT. Haryono No. 198, Dinoyo, Lowokwaru District, Malang City with an altitude of 550 meters above sea level and an average temperature of 22-28°C. Plant analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Malang. This research was conducted from June to July 2022. The design used was a simple randomized block design with 5 levels of urea treatment, (U0 = no urea), (U1 = 75 kg/ha urea.), (U2 = urea dose of 150 kg/ha.), (U3 = urea dose of 225 kg/ha.), (U4 = urea dose of 300 kg/ha.). Each of these treatments was repeated 3 times with 2 sample plants, bringing a total of 30 experimental plant units. Observational data were analyzed based on the F test at the 5% level to determine the effect of the treatment being tested. If there is a significant effect then proceed with the 5% BNT test to compare between treatments and continue with the Dunnets test at the 5% level to compare each treatment with the control. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the application of fertilizer that was able to increase the growth and yield of water spinach plants used a urea fertilizer treatment at a dose of 150 kg/ha.
